37 Year Old Mom of 1 6 days until I get lipo on abs, hips, thighs, and chin. After having a baby at the age of 36 my body never bounced back. After 2 doctors told me I could only get a tummy tuck- I found a doctor that said he could do lipo. He is triple board certified and has a wonderful staff. Super excited!!! I will update more soon. Hi all Just wanted to give a quick update. I have 4 days until my liposuction surgery on my abs, hips, thighs and chin. I'm not too nervous yet but I'm sure that will change. I will be headed to the store tomorrow to stock up on Gatorade, protein bars, extra sheets, pads for bed and anything else I can think of. I will meet with the doctor one last time on Monday- the day before my surgery for any last minute questions. I will get you all some good before pictures tonight and the morning of. Welp- one more night then surgery tomorrow at 2:00pm. I'm meeting with my doctor one more time later today for any last minute questions or concerns. I will try to update tomorrow and hopefully I will feel good enough afterwards to let you all know how it went. I hope I can sleep tonight 🙂 Hi ladies... Sorry it's been awhile, but it's true what they say that the first few weeks is the time you get down and depressed and start to regret things because you may not see a big change yet. Well that was me, until today. My biggest issue is that my abdominal muscle sticks out from pregnancy so I will never have a completely flat stomach unless I get a mini tummy tuck- so that's what was really getting to me but it is starting to look better and better every day. Today I still wear my foam and garmet and I'm still a little stiff and numb but overall I feel about 75% better. However I will say that no matter what they say and how much you got done, you will need about 2 weeks for down time. I was told by the ladies in the office I would be fine and able to go to work after 3-4 days... hell no- they also knew I had a very physical job. I just went back to work 2 days ago and it wasn't easy, but I took it slow and did it. I will get updated chin pictures later. I still look about the same as day 19, but thankfully I feel better each day. Still pretty numb and swollen at times but back to the gym a few days ago and going to start a boxing/kickboxing class in a few days. Just hoping I look better than this in a few weeks. I feel I look the same still. I look bigger now 🙁 Well here are pictures from today. It has been 6 weeks now. I can't believe how fast time has gone. I feel pretty normal, except I'm still a little numb, swollen and a little sore in spots. But I can go to gym everyday. I can do almost everything except yoga and Pilates is hard because of mobility with this garmet and padding on. I still feel like I look the same as a few weeks ago. But it's still early. So let's hope 🙂 I will try to get some chin pictures soon too.
36 Years Old, 1 Child, Have Always Wanted More Attractive and Feminine Breasts - Indianapolis, IN I have actually wanted to have this procedure since I was 22 years old. I am now 36 and felt that it was time! I am not having any more children and I was ready both mentally and monetarily. I went from a size A/B (not sure as my bras have always had a ton of padding!), and now have silicone high profile 550cc implants. I am still in the healing process, but so far am very pleased with the outcome!
Worth It!!! Do It All over Again! Indianapolis, IN I went in to get my eyes done (upper and lower Bleph) Dr. Chernoff recommended that I get the brow lift as well so it would make me look refreshed. I also had laser resurfacing under my eyes. I was a little nervous but decided he knew what was best. After the surgery and healing period, I am so pleased I did it. It took 10 years off my face. The recovery process was fast and the bruising and swelling faded within a few weeks. There is still numbness between the brow and on the top of the head which is to be expected. Doctor Chernoff said that would slowly disappear in the next 4-6 months. The other day, I had lunch with some friends I hadn't seen in a while and didn't know I had the surgery. One of them asked if I had been on a vacation as I had looked refreshed! Great testimony for what the doctor said I would look like!
58 Years Old. Indianapolis, IN I'm 58 years old, I had a face, neck and eye lift.... Did an absolute great job..... My husband said he didn't take 10 years off your age, he took 20.... There was so little pain that I took Tylenol for only the first couple days..... I live an hour and forty-five minutes away and it was well worth the trip.... Dr. Chernoff is absolutely amazing.... He truly cares about his patients..... Julie his nurse is just as amazing as he is, she gave me her cell phone number and told me to call her anytime, day or night if I need anything or had any questions....... Sometime in the near future, my husband is having eye surgery and we both know he will be in great hands.....
54 Yr Old Sculpting the Menopausal Tire. Indianapolis, IN I have been fit and slender all my life. I take good care of my health and body, eating a mostly organic plant based diet with the occasional detour and exercising regularly. As menopause kicked in I was at my ideal super slim weight. Four years into the journey and I had acquired a serious tire around my belly and flanks that would not deflate. Bioidentical hormones, hcg and mic lipo had helped, but........ I was coming round to acceptance of this larger me; when my husband decided he wanted to have liposuction for his belly and flanks. We have some working years ahead and a fit appearance is important in the industry we work in. He began researching international options with cost being a major consideration. Hey, a lipo vacation and coming home with a refreshed body sounds exotic and great. Still I listened to my intuition and insisted that I wanted to have Dr Greg Chernoff who I know and trust preform the procedure. It may look more expensive than the foreign options, but I will be living in this body the rest of this life and I want the best. I had a face lift with chin implant procedure 18 months prior at his Santa Rosa office and am beyond estatic with the natural results. The tumescent lipo procedure went very smoothly: 8lbs lighter and one week out; I am amazed at the fast recovery. Very little bruising, entry points are healed, stitches are out, steri strips just in case. Skin is adhering well. Swelling is way down. Upper and lower abs, flanks and thighs looking smooth and even. I am moving slowly and carefully. Still a bit sore and taking pain meds to sleep at night. Can get in 20 minute work out on elliptic machine and feel ok. So far so good.
The One Dr I Trust with my Face - Santa Rosa/Indianapolis, IN I am 54 yrs young. I had a total face rejuvenation including a brow lift, upper and lower lids, face lift, neck lift and chin implant and DOT laser resurfacing 18 months ago. I am super happy with the natural results. Dr Chernoff refreshed my tired look and took ten years off. The elasticity of my skin is fair due to aging and a lifetime living on the sea and in the sun. As the facial rejuvenation has settled in there were a few areas I felt could use some added volume. I was undergoing a lipo procedure with Dr Chernoff and he suggested that the fat harvested during lipo could be used for FT to voluminize the areas I was concerned about. To be honest I had not researched the subject, nor considered a FT. The fat harvested during the lip procedure was reserved and I made up mind to proceed as suggested. The procedure was performed in office. Dr Chernoff gave me another ten years, it is amazing what a difference the FT has made. His meticulous and judicious application of just the right amount of fat in various places on my face has refreshed the whole look. The pain during the numbing and FT was totally bearable, the swelling was minor and no bruising to speak of. The effect is smooth. I am 3 days post FT and all is well. After the FT settles and builds its new blood supply; in about 6 months we will meet up and assess where further FT is desired and maybe one more time after that. I like that it is my own fat and not some chemical composition and at the results will be long lasting. Dr Chernoff is an artist at his craft, is willing to advise against a requested procedure and be honest about expected outcomes.
52yo Male Wants Spare Tire Gone. 1 Day Post Op - Indianapolis, IN I have always had a spare tire around my middle. In cosmetic surgery they call this abs and flanks. I especially did not like when I put on a little extra weight my belly would come right over my pants making an unsightly bulge. I had upper and lower abs and flanks removed with tumescent lipo by Dr Chernoff in Chernoff Cosmetic Surgery Indianapolis. Between my wife and I this was our fourth procedure with Dr Chernoff. Of course before we signed on we checked all the other options. Turkey, Poland, Tieland etc. In the end we went for the surgeon we trusted. Much of that was from reading on this site all the reviews saying the real art is in the surgeon's hands and not the machine used. So far on day one it looks great. For our next surgery we plan to go straight back to Dr Chernoff. We ended up being put under general anesthesia. I was a little worried about that, but in the end it was great. We got a small IV shot and woke up in the recovery room all thin and lighter. I ended up having 7.5lbs removed and my wife had 8lbs removed. We did not have a lot of fat to begin with so we should be double thin and fit after our full recovery. The only issue I have had is continual hiccups since waking up. That is about 36hrs now. I have tried all the normal stuff like drinking water upside down, and breathing into a paper bag and a spoon full of sugar and holding my breath and pulling on my toung but I still have the hiccups. Any ideas out there? Now in day three post lipo. The little pain there was is pretty much all gone. Totally up and around. Dr says I can start easy workouts again. Feeling really lucky at this point. The hiccups stopped in the middle of day two and have not been back either. I did not expect this to be so easy, but things might change. For now I am counting my lucky stars and waiting for the swelling to go down some more to see how this is all going to look.
Rejuvented Eyes - Indianapolis, IN My upper eyelids drooped and the left one more so than the right, due to a childhood accident. I looked tired all the time. 64 Years of Age. Indianapolis, IN February 7, 2015 I wish to express my gratitude for the surgical skills and aesthetic vision Dr. Chernoff brought to my Laser Blepharoplasty, Endoscopic Browlift and Rhytudectomy Revision performed on January 12, 2015 at the Surgery Center of Carmel. Previously I had a Life Style Lift performed on March 6th, 2014 by a Medical Doctor and I was not happy with the results. Dr. Chernoff graciously offered to bring his skills to bear in correcting the former surgery. Although the healing process is not complete and I am still scheduled for DOT Laser Face and Vascular Laser with Dr. Chernoff, It is already apparent the marvelous difference he has made to my appearance and the change it has brought to my life. I am also grateful to all the office staff for their support and assistance. Julie Leonetti (R. N.) was so polite and attentive to my follow up care and Dr. Chernoff is lucky to have such a dedicated person on staff. Dr. Chernoff and Julie Leonetti made me feel very comfortable about the procedures, explaining what to expect and answered any questions I posed to them. IPL Photofacial Treatment 1 of Perhaps 5 Treatments. Santa Rosa, CA Hi! I chose Dr. Chernoff & Associates, in Santa Rosa after doing some local research. I have wanted to do an IPL for a while after reading some of the reviews on this site, so I scheduled my appointment. It was a beautiful building located in Downtown Santa Rosa near a wonderful neighborhood I would just love to someday live in! My nurses' name was Eve. The office itself is very clean, stylish, inviting with flat screen televisions (about 4), and comforting music. I was taken to one of the offices in the back and cool gel was applied to my face. The entire procedure took about 20min and I was out the door. Both Eve and Misty (front office) were super nice and made me feel really comfortable. I was a little apprehensive due to some other reviews I had read earlier,so I expressed my concern and they actually gave me my first treatment for free as a complimentary. I applied this to my second treatment which is scheduled for 1/16/14!!!! Will post pics soon:)
