What Is the Y LIFT?
The Y Lift is a non-surgical procedure that improves face and jawline contouring. Dr. Greg Chernoff recommends the Y Lift for people who desire to add volume and lift to the cheekbones, improve under eyes, and add jawline definition. An expertly performed Y Lift gives definition to the face, chin and jawline, and for some patients, the Y Lift may improve the upper neck.
Dr. Chernoff customizes the Y Lift for your bone structure, facial anatomy, and improvement goals. Only trained and certified Y Lift doctors can perform the Y Lift. Dr. Chernoff has been trained on this procedure by Dr. Trokel, the inventor of the Y LIFT. Dr. Chernoff is the only doctor in Santa Rosa and Sonoma County to offer the Y Lift.
The Y LIFT is a minimally invasive treatment that helps restore the structure of your face. The benefits of a Y Lift include:
- Highlights cheekbones
- Replaces lost facial volume
- Defines the jawline and neck
- May provide a slight lift to sagging aging facial skin
- Reduces the appearance of facial wrinkles
What Is the Y LIFT & How is it Different Than a Surgical Facelift?
The Y Lift target areas create a “Y” shape on the face. Dr. Chernoff uses a precise sub-muscular technique to re-establish the structural pillars of the face. Dr. Chernoff uses Hyaluronic acid (HA) based dermal fillers precisely injected into the targeted areas. The placement of dermal fillers is different that having dermal filler injection. The Y Lift technique injection involves placing the filler on and/or close to the bone. This technique provides the change in contouring and provides a natural look. Dr. Chernoff’s Y Lift patients do not look puffed or over filled but natural and refreshed.
How Is the Y Lift Different Than Dermal Filler Injections?
The Y LIFT is different than having regular fillers because of the sub-muscular filler placement technique. The placement accentuates the cheekbone region, invigorates the under-eye area, and defines the jawline and upper neck without making the face look puffy or filled.*
Is there recovery after the Y Lift?
The Y LIFT treatment can improve the appearance of your facial profile without incisions or so the downtime is minimal. Patients may have swelling and potential bruising that resolve in a few days. We recommend patients apply ice after their treatment. Patients can continue their activities as normal directly following their treatment.
How Long Will Results Last?
Based on Dr. Chernoff’s experience performing the Y Lift, typically, the results can last up to 3 years, depending on your treatment. The length of the treatment is based on your specific.
