This male patient had a face and neck lift, chin implant, and malar festoons treatment. During his consultation, he shared common concerns we hear from many male patients: visible signs of aging in the lower face, a lack of jawline definition, a receding or under-projected chin, and persistent malar festoons—those stubborn, swollen bags beneath the eyes that can make the face appear tired or puffy. 

To address these concerns, Dr. Chernoff performed a deep plane face and neck lift to reposition the underlying facial tissues, tighten lax skin, eliminate jowls, and smooth the neckline. A custom chin implant was placed to enhance chin projection, improve side profile balance, and strengthen the jawline. For the treatment of malar festoons, Dr. Chernoff used Morpheus8 radiofrequency microneedling during surgery. While typically a non-surgical treatment, Morpheus8 was used intraoperatively in this case to help tighten skin, reduce festoon volume, and improve skin texture around the lower eyelid-cheek junction.
