This younger patient underwent chin augmentation surgery and was a great candidate for a chin implant to correct a genetically recessed or “set-back” chin that impacted her overall facial balance. The patient was looking for a more permanent result; the yearly upkeep of dermal filler injections was not convenient or cost effective for her in the long run.

After a detailed consultation, Dr. Chernoff recommended a custom chin implant to enhance the patient’s lower facial structure. The procedure was performed using a small, discreet incision under the chin in the natural chin crease for minimal visible scarring.
