Say goodbye to tired, heavy brows and hello to a refreshed, youthful look with the expert care of Chernoff Cosmetic Surgery! Whether you’re exploring non-surgical or surgical options, Dr. Chernoff’s innovative techniques can brighten your eyes and rejuvenate your forehead.

Heavy, drooping brows can cast shadows that make you look tired or down. With advanced solutions tailored to your needs, Dr. Chernoff can restore your brows to a naturally lifted, youthful position.

What Is an Endoscopic Eyebrow Lift?

If you have moderate to severe eyebrow drooping, an endoscopic brow lift (also called a forehead lift) may be the ideal solution for surgical correction. This procedure not only lifts the brows to create a more youthful and refreshed appearance but also smooths forehead creases and softens frown lines above the bridge of the nose. Using his specialized technique, Dr. Chernoff can precisely reposition the eyebrows to enhance facial harmony and achieve aesthetically pleasing results.

Dr. Chernoff’s minimally invasive single-incision endoscopic eyebrow lift is a groundbreaking procedure designed to lift and reposition the brows for a brighter, more rested look. Unlike traditional methods, his advanced approach requires just one small incision discreetly hidden behind the hairline, resulting in virtually invisible scarring once healed.

This technique is especially beneficial for men with receding hairlines or women with thinner hair who want no visible signs of surgery.

As one of the first surgeons to perform the endoscopic brow lift, Dr. Chernoff has dedicated over 25 years to refining and perfecting this procedure, offering his patients natural-looking, long-lasting results.

Does Dr. Chernoff Perform Other Types of Eyebrow (Forhead) Lifts?

Yes, Dr. Chernoff is expertly trained in a variety of eyebrow lift techniques, including Endoscopic, Temporal, Hairline, Direct, and Open Brow Lifts. While he is skilled in all these methods, Dr. Chernoff prefers his advanced Single Incision Endoscopic Brow Lift due to its minimally invasive nature and ability to deliver superior, natural-looking results. This innovative approach allows him to achieve exceptional outcomes with greater precision and minimal scarring.

Do All Surgeon's Perform a Single Incision Endoscopic Eyebrow Lifts?

No, not all plastic surgeons are trained or equipped to perform traditional endoscopic eyebrow lifts—let alone the single incision technique pioneered by Dr. Chernoff. As one of the first to master the endoscopic approach, Dr. Chernoff has spent decades perfecting this innovative method.

His single central incision technique uses an endoscope to release and reposition the brow through a small incision, cleverly concealed about an inch above the hairline. This advanced approach is complemented by a precise suture technique that leaves scars virtually invisible, making it an excellent option for individuals with thin or receding hair.

Preparing for Surgery

Prior to any surgical procedure, Dr. Chernoff recommends that all our patients read our "Patient Guide for Plastic Surgery". The guide explains important points that all patients should think about as they are considering a surgical procedure.

What Is the Recovery Process for a Brow Lift?

Recovery from a brow lift varies for each individual, but most of Dr. Chernoff’s patients are pleasantly surprised by how minimal the discomfort is. Immediately after the procedure, you may experience some soreness in your forehead along with bruising and swelling, which typically subside within a few days. Applying cold compresses can help reduce swelling and ease any discomfort.

In the first few days after surgery, it’s important to rest and allow your body to heal. Most patients are able to return to work within 4–10 days, depending on the demands of their job.

Following your procedure, you’ll wear a small bandage on your forehead for a few days, and the tiny incision behind your hairline will heal discreetly. While light activities are encouraged, it’s best to avoid strenuous exercise, such as running or heavy lifting, for a couple of weeks.

Dr. Chernoff’s dedicated nursing team will support you every step of the way with follow-up care and monitoring to ensure a smooth recovery and optimal results.

How Is Dr. Chernoff's Minimal Single Incision Surgical Endoscopic Eyebrow (forehead) Lift Performed?

Dr. Chernoff’s Minimally Invasive Single Incision Endoscopic Brow Lift, also known as a minimal incision forehead lift or brow lift, is designed to lift and reposition the entire eyebrows and forehead. This procedure effectively softens and refreshes a tired, sad, or angry appearance for a more youthful and natural look.

Unlike traditional brow lift methods that involve larger incisions, Dr. Chernoff’s advanced technique uses a small endoscope with a camera to perform the surgery through a single, discreet incision hidden behind the hairline. This innovative approach ensures both precision and safety, minimizing scarring and recovery time.

After the procedure, the incision is meticulously closed to create a virtually invisible scar. For men with no hair or patients with thinning hair, the incision can be cleverly concealed within a natural forehead crease, ensuring a seamless and aesthetic result. Dr. Chernoff’s groundbreaking technique offers patients a minimally invasive solution with long-lasting, natural-looking outcomes.

Does Dr. Chernoff Perform Other Procedures with an Endoscopic Eyebrow Lift?

Patients can achieve more facial enhancement with Upper and Lower Laser Eyelid lifts if they have excess eyelid skin, fat deposits, bags, or excess skin under the eye.

Dr. Chernoff combined Upper and Lower Eyelid surgery with his Endoscopic Eyebrow Lift to enhance the upper third of the face for this patient. Additionally, he performed a Deep Plane Face and Neck Lift to refine the jawline and neck area, providing a comprehensive rejuvenation

Eyebrow Repositioning

For patients with naturally asymmetrical or unevenly positioned eyebrows, Dr. Chernoff offers his Minimally Invasive Single-Incision Endoscopic Eyebrow Repositioning procedure. This advanced technique helps achieve balanced, symmetrical, and aesthetically pleasing eyebrow positioning, tailored to each patient’s unique features.

In the example shown, Dr. Chernoff utilized this method to correct asymmetry and enhance the patient’s overall appearance. To complement the results, the patient also underwent:

  • An upper laser eyelid lift to remove excess skin and address hooding on the upper eyelids.
  • Lower eyelid surgery using an internal incision technique to eliminate under-eye fat pads without visible scarring.

To further refine the patient’s appearance, Dr. Chernoff performed multiple Fractional DOT CO2 Laser treatments. These in-office treatments stimulated collagen and elastin production, reduced sun damage, and improved overall skin quality, creating a smoother and more youthful complexion.

Is There a Non-Surgical Procedure For an Eyebrow Lift?

Dr. Chernoff can inject BOTOX, Daxxify, Xeomin, or other neurotoxins into specific muscles that are responsible for raising the eyebrows. Relaxing the muscle helps open up the eye area and provides a well-rested, natural result. Botox and Xeomin results can last 3– 6 months, while Daxxify results have been shown to last longer in some patients.

Patients with a mild brow droop respond well to these treatments. When the droop is moderate or severe, injecting a neurotoxin can actually make the droop worse.

Dr. Chernoff often uses neurotoxins to smooth and soften horizontal forehead lines (worry lines) and the vertical lines between the eyebrows.
