What is Surgical Co2 Laser Resurfacing?
The CO2 laser is a type of an ablative laser. At Chernoff Cosmetic Surgery, our CO2 laser works by removing deeper layers of the damaged skin while stimulating the regeneration of the healthy layer underneath. The laser technology uses pulsed Fc, or scattered light beams, to remove the dead skin cells. The use of scattered light minimizes heat damage that the skin would otherwise be exposed to. How is a Co2 Laser Resurfacing Procedure Performed?
