BodyTite tightens skin by using directional Radio Frequency (RF) energy under the skin during your surgical procedure. BodyTite is similar to laser-assisted liposuction but uses a different type of energy to accurate and uniformly eliminate fat from the target areas of the body. Peer reviewed clinical studies report up to up to 36% tissue contraction after a BodyTite, procedure resulting in a more contoured body. What Is BodyTite?
BodyTite is an innovative procedure that uses RFAL Radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis (RFAL) technology to contract soft tissue and skin. The treatment uses three-dimensional tissue remodeling for lifting and tightening of the skin, in addition to radiofrequency assisted lipolysis for fat melting. The volumetric heating creates fat coagulation to reduce fat without sagging skin. Results can be seen immediately, with additional noticeable improvement in the following 6 to 12 months.
In addition to BodyTite, we offer a similar procedure for improvement of the neck, jowls, and chin, called FaceTite.
How Is a BodyTite Procedure Performed?
The BodyTite procedure is an outpatient surgical procedure performed using light general anesthetic. Dr. Chernoff inserts a probe through very small incisions in the treatment area to heat your skin in the dermis layer, the underlying connective tissue and in fat areas. The liquified fat is then removed though a thin cannula with not injury to surrounding tissue. Recovery ranges from a few days or up to a week, or more, depending upon the area(s) treated. Patients can expect to see results immediately with additional improvements over time. Combined with liposuction, BodyTite safely and effectively removes excess fat and improves skin laxity.
